The SDG Cities is a partner-driven and impact-focused initiative designed to accelerate cities pathways toward sustainable development with systemic lasting results. Its comprehensive approach has been built by the cities, for the cities, with the flexibility to be tailored to the uniqueness of each and every local context.

Jointly promoted by the Italian Ministry of Environment and Energy Security and UN-Habitat, the Partnership Platform on Localizing the SDGs is an operational initiative designed to accelerate the localization of the Sustainable Development Goals at the country level.

The International Olympic Committee (IOC) and UN-Habitat are collaborating in mainstream sport, physical activity, and active recreation in sustainable urban development processes.

The Local 2030 Knowledge and Scientific Network (KSN) has been established as an initiative of the Government of Italy in partnership with UN-Habitat and OECD LTS, and anchored to the Local 2030 Coalition, with the aim of catalyzing, experts and strategic thinkers all around the world on the localization of the SDGs, share innovation knowledge, research and policy making at the local level.
